During my recent stay at the Orquidea Guest House on Boa Vista, I had the pleasure of exploring its culinary offerings, which left a lasting impression. The breakfast, served in a tranquil courtyard surrounded by lush greenery, featured an array of fresh fruits, including a delightful papaya that was a first for me. This vibrant start to the day was pleasantly complemented by the tropical ambiance, as I dined beneath swaying palms. While there, I had the chance to visit Ristorante Pizzeria O Gato & A Raposa, just a short walk away. The local cuisine was a highlight, with a unique banana-flavored dish that had a refreshing undertone, providing an interesting flavor profile I hadn't encountered before. This culinary innovation is a testament to the region's dedication to elevating traditional dishes.
